Yep, if you read this blog and register, I will give you full access to all forums and services for free for the life of your membership. Enjoy.

The Domain Name Traders Market

I have decided to take both Sarah Scraffords, and my own, advice and build a forum for domain name sales. I truly believe that domain names are like internet real estate and that a good deal of money can still be made from them. Even though type o squatting is no longer legal, with a little ingenuity and a keen eye for up and coming trends, you can make a mint. I have set the price at $1.00 for the first three months and $3.00 a month after that. Stay tuned, I may just have a special for my loyal readers here.

WordPress

I have been playing around with WordPress and may move this blog over there. Blogger has some really great customizable tools, but those WordPress themes are just sexy. I have some new things to add today and tomorrow on the site, so keep an eye out!

Guest Post-Make Money from Forums

The Chris Johnson Project continues to grow. We have had several advertisement inquiries and now we can proudly present a guest post from Sarah Scrafford, an industry savvy writer of some very informative articles. Here is her post, enjoy:

Make Money from Forums

There are a host of opportunities to make money online, if only you knew where to start and how to go about it. While some options like freelance and blog writing, web designing and online selling require a basic skill set (like a command over language, HTML) , others like answering online surveys, reading emails and posting to forums do not require you to do much other than to have access to a computer and an Internet connection. Internet forums, a place where people can discuss anything relevant to the forum title, can make you money in more ways than one, and here’s how:

· A forum can indirectly help attract readers to your website. Instead of relying only on search engine optimization and other marketing tools, add a forum to your site. It’s not that hard to set up, and once it gets going, it’s a great place to source visitors for your site. If you sell any products, your users will provide reviews on your forum (all the more reason why you should provide the best quality and service), thus generating free publicity. Additionally, you can insert ads into your forum software that will earn you money from affiliate programs.
· Even if you’re neither a professional nor a site owner, you can still make money from forums. Seek out forum masters (like the ones in the previous point) and they will pay you money to set up a few fake ids and start threads of conversation on their forum. Not a totally ethical practice, I agree, but as long as it’s not a blatant publicity drive, this is a harmless way of initiating conversations on a new forum. Make sure you’re familiar with the rules of the forum before you start posting. Other unwritten rules you need to observe as part of forum decorum are - not typing your full post in capital letters as this is the online equivalent of shouting, not making arguments personal and being polite and treating your fellow posters with courtesy.
· If you own a website but do not have the time or the inclination to start your forum, join as many others as you can. You can provide links back to your site as long as you stay within the lines of spam. Some webmasters take a dim view of blatant solicitation of visitors. Be subtle – the key is to post to forums relevant to your website and include links as part of your posts rather than as an addendum.
· Networking on forums opens up new and exciting opportunities for people seeking new ways to make money. You gain insight into different ways of thinking and access to other sites that may throw up valuable information.

Speaking of being a Broker

Brokering information is a great way to get into the online money business. Many people want information but can't spend the time looking in all the nooks and crannies of the internet. Sometimes they are willing to pay you to find them leads, like at Innersell. Here, if you know someone who has a need for a Service or Product that you don't provide, you can enter them into Innersell as a lead. Choose the companies who will contact the client and if they close the deal you get paid! If you don't know any companies, sign up for a free account at TradeKey. This way you can troll the waters of international trade, and maybe start your own import/export business.

Note Business

Another good way to make money, if you have the patience, is being a note broker. Basically you find notes for sale (people who have mortgages that they own, got lottery winnings, settlements, etc) and don't want to wait for the payments. They sell them at a discount and you, as the broker, take a commission. Not a bad deal, really. But you have to know where to look for the notes and where to go to sell them. I am toying around with the idea of writing a resource for this industry, but there might be a small cost for an ebook. Let me know your thoughts.

ECurrencty Exchange part 2

Ok, so I'm a few days late. But here's the basics. Everyone has their favorite type of ecurrency, and businesses are no exception. The margins on conversion between currencies are very high, mostly because they can be, and all the competition has historically had high fees. The simplicity of the business is great. One website with a script sent to email with account numbers and currency amounts, match up those accounts with their respective payments and viola, you have lift off. Just siphon off a certain percentage per day, week, month whatever, and distribute to backers and partners. Not too shabby. No regulation either.
