Crowd Funding

Crowd Funding is a concept that has been growing more and more popular of late. The basic premise isn't new, by any means, the Co-op has been around for ages; but the online community has really grabbed hold and given entrepreneurs the means to make money. I've touted Prosper.com for some time now, and it has probably been one of my more successful money makers, though they have recently run into some speed bumps that they are currently trying to overcome by registering with the SEC. My research has led me to other opportunities like Sell a Band, Kiva.org, Micro Place, and Catwalk Genius, that provide some really interesting ideas and innovative ways to make some money. Now, the thing to remember about crowd funding is that the risk is much higher than your average investment. Think of yourself as the bank, giving a loan to an entrepreneur and being promised a cut of the revenue as payment. You will need to be more discriminating that usual with your choices, picking bands that sound "popular" more so than your particular style of music; or clothes that are "fashion forward" more so than just the cut and style that you'd wear. Still, all told, the potential for profit is staggering. You might not become a millionaire, but the passive income that these can generate would make a nice surprise when you check your accounts after working on another project.

The Most Awesome Affiliate Program EVER!!

I think I have finally found it. This idea is the greatest idea for an affiliate program that I have ever seen. Here's how it works:

The Warrior Forum

Ok, here is an awesome resource and most of it is free. The Warrior Forum is a forum for making money online, marketing, SEO, and the rest. I say most, because the information pieces of the forum are free to read and post, but the real treasure is in the Warrior Special Offers forum. You have to have, I believe, 30 posts to post a WSO, but purchasing has no restrictions. The stuff in here is great. The prices are rediculously cheap, too. I mean like $10.00 for some of the same stuff you'd pay $100.00 or more for. Here is one of the best WSO's I've ever read, and I am glad I bought it. I don't know how long he'll keep selling this, and this is a completely unsolicited review of this WSO, so I don't get a wooden nickel if you buy it or not. This is an awesome resource for those of you who want to be TAUGHT how to make money and not just SOLD a system. This is step by step, and the extras he gives you are more than worth tripple the price.

This one is for all the jet setters out there with tons of money already. It seems that the US Government taxes the casino winnings of any one from outside the US by 30%. You sign up as a tester and test new programs and if you find a bug you get paid for it. Some require downloads and some just require that you have say, a MySpace account or something. Well this is a blog about making money and to be honest one of the best ways to make money is by getting a college degree. Some studies have shown that the average college grad can make upto $1,000,000.00 more than a non-grad over the course of their life. Student loans are a part of how that becomes a reality for most of us. I don't know about you, but I don't have $100,000.00 lying about the place collecting dust that I can just say, "oh, look at that. What to do......guess I'll get an education with it." So, I borrowed the money. Yes I am in college as we speak, with the University of Phoenix. Yep, full time job, two kids, a blog or two, and college.......in answer to your question, no, I do not sleep. But it's worth it to me to get more of an education and be a role model for my sons. Plus, one thing I have noticed is that it's really freaking hard to get in the door on the better jobs without that piece of paper. So I got the loans. You can defer the payments until you graduate, so you're making good money when you have to pay it back. Hey, let's face it College Loans are a part of life for most of us, and the benefits of going to college are more than worth it. After all, knowledge is power, and in this day and age, power means money.
